After just 3 editions, we are going back to Talvezout to seek a win in the city of Phoda. Let’s give you some facts you won’t find elsewhere;
- 20 nations voted!
- Of those, 70% voted in favour for Talvezout to win – a wide majority!
- of those, 20% voted in favour for Normandy and Picardy to win
- And, the rest voted for Kasanova Koratica to win!
592, not 600, points were available for grabs! The winner won 38% of those points. While, Normandy and Picardy won 33% of those points and Kasanova Koratica won 29% of the total points…

58 nations have announced their intentions of participating in the 48th WorldVision Song Contest, after Tanzeratti announced that they have officially withdrawn. The question is, (now that the host will get picked in a couple of hours and deadlines close), how many nations would get to the contest in either Normandy and Picardy, Talvezout or Kasanova Koratica.
With only around 52 hours left to go, we have only seen two bids from previous hosts of the contest. Normandy and Picardy, who hosted in WorldVision 42 and Talvezout in WorldVision 44. Let’s take a look at some of what they’ve said.
Normandy and Picardy is bidding with Cherbourg.
1.Their slogan is “play” and the logo has a triangle symbolising the play button.
2. Second largest city in Normandy and Picardy.
3. Two arena-stadiums will “host” the contest.
Talvezout is bidding with Phoda
1. Arena holds 15,000 people.
2. Talvezout is made of more than 100 different islands.
3. Phoda is the youngest Auxillary city.
“Ask me no questions, and I won’t tell lies.” I call touche! Talvezout’s ever changing artists have come to an end as Grezzja has been announced the nation’s representative in WorldVision 47! Grezzja went on to say;
But seriously, the performance is going to be a more stripped down thing; compared to how the previous Talvezian entries have been more, um, gimmicky I guess? We’re going for a simple but effective performance.

TRT has now announced the official participants for Talvezout and Talfessot. Talvezout will be represented by Jelena, performing “The Love Of My Life” (Melody is Boaz’s The Fire In Your Eyes). TRT has announced that Talfessot will be represented by Agnete & Freya, performing “The Story Of My Life.” (Melody is ABBA’s Take A Chance On Me)
Talvezout will be performing 8th at the Pre Party in Juntërapten in a few days.
In a statement yesterday, it was learnt that Talvezout was to withdraw their bid stating it’s too premature for them to host when they hosted only three editions ago – in Yaru-Bzheriut, WorldVision 44. Ekoz are still in the race to host the contest in Carnise however, Ekoz isn’t yet safe.
Nekoni has joined the scene;
The logo is certainly flashy and high quality featuring the colours of Nekoni. Do you like the bid? If you want to have a look at it, please click this link, here!
The Junteräpten Pre Party is set to take place in around a week, and BVC (The Britonish Broadcaster for WV; Briyunik Vefecosoin Cairkovoin) get ready to host a small level WorldVision!
Well, not quite. Britonisea announced that they will be making a pre-party, something that hasn’t been done before on this level. They called for 14 artists. There was high demand though, some nations had to be turned down as all the places were booked but BVC has assured that IF a Pre-Party were to happen again; they would be first on the list. Here is the running order;
1. Normandy & Picardy — NF
7. Ekoz – NF
10. The Sarian
14. Britonisea – NF
The nations with NF labeled on them are nations with international National finals so, to avoid clashing, those three nations (Normandy and Picardy, Ekoz and Britonisea) are pushed apart: 1st, 7th and 14th. Estogium has been put away from Britonisea as they are neighbouring nations. Antahbrantahstan has been put near to the end because this contrasts to Ethane’s entry. Antahbrantahstan was not next to Britonisea’s act as the winner of Britonisea (all Britonish) and Antahbrantahstan’s act are from the same country. The Sarian has been put away from Normandy & Picardy, the two previous winners and the two returners, Gim and Titaniumland have also been put far from each other (9th and 4th). BVC has put thought in to this running order, haven’t they?
