Kyvivre is the city in the limelight, as it hosted both the World Hit and WorldVision straight after one another – however, in Normandy and Picardy, there was much more elation than other countries. Quite the unexpected win (According to odds, and even the Normand Broadcaster!) , Normandy and Picardy won 8.3% of the vote. Putting this in to perspective, Mini Surrey North (who won with a 17 point gap in WV47) won 8.5% of the total votes to gain 139 points.
Normandy and Picardy’s Susanne Felludan sang the song, “Free” and won with a small total of 87 points. The contest had its lowest amount of participants in WorldVision’s modern history, yet the quality of entries were much higher than standard competitions. In second place was the host, who (according to odds from the nation) was expecting its third win thanks to the aura of winning in Quickenden WV41 on home turf. Finishing behind is Izmedu, with only a point difference between itself and Britonisea. Ultimaversian nations finished the top 5 as Arioslavia and Estogium gain 73 and 72 points respectively with Estogium winning the tie.
1 Normandy and Picardy 87
2 Britonisea 83
3 Izmedu 82
4 Arioslavia 73
5 Estogium 72
6 Zeganas 72
7 Cheongji 70

Adab is near the bottom once again, and we can only hope that they improve for the next competition that will be held in Mercedini’s Langtree.
This edition, Estogium will be represented by Ellie Morgent who represented the country in the 24th WorldVision Song Contest in Caen, Normandy and Picardy. Ellie Morgent was 3rd to perform out of 12 nations, and although quite highly expected to win, came 7th with 9 points. Ellie thought that she did very well in Caen, and thought that it was of high standard. She says she aims to do better in the WorldVision Song Contest with her songNot My Speciality which is a dance/electropop song which is intended to get you in your feet! ENTV will be broadcasting the event for Estogium.
He ain’t go us, They ain’t got us
We got us, baby.
Darling, I don’t have wings to transport you to a different sky,
(Not my speciality)
Honey, I don’t have telepathy to enter your mind.
(Not my speciality)
Though I don’t need technology to see,
What I think you mean to me, oh.
Hold my hand and travel with me.
We might not have wings,
Though, experience what the world brings.
Britonisea will be represented by Amedeo Arjan, a well known personality in Britonisea and in Estogium alike. Amedeo Arjan will hope to maintain the country’s win in WorldVision 47 and hopes to bring the country it’s third win. Amedeo Arjan says that this would be an opportunity “like no other” and that he will take “every opportunity within grasps reach.” Amedeo will be singing a song called Parrot-talk which speaks about living with mental disabilities and the parrot is the constant person telling you to do the wrong things in life. The song is also about addiction and how addiction can link to you being hospitalised. BVC will be broadcasting the event for Britonisea.
They’re running for me!
Over the hills, they’re searching hard for me.
To pay my debts to, the one up high.
Corruption in my mind? I don’t believe so.
Though my mind is different from your own.
I feel so tired – Stop the suff’rin’
I feel such pain, pin-prick and enter my veins
The Junteräpten Pre Party is set to take place in around a week, and BVC (The Britonish Broadcaster for WV; Briyunik Vefecosoin Cairkovoin) get ready to host a small level WorldVision!
Well, not quite. Britonisea announced that they will be making a pre-party, something that hasn’t been done before on this level. They called for 14 artists. There was high demand though, some nations had to be turned down as all the places were booked but BVC has assured that IF a Pre-Party were to happen again; they would be first on the list. Here is the running order;
1. Normandy & Picardy — NF
7. Ekoz – NF
10. The Sarian
14. Britonisea – NF
The nations with NF labeled on them are nations with international National finals so, to avoid clashing, those three nations (Normandy and Picardy, Ekoz and Britonisea) are pushed apart: 1st, 7th and 14th. Estogium has been put away from Britonisea as they are neighbouring nations. Antahbrantahstan has been put near to the end because this contrasts to Ethane’s entry. Antahbrantahstan was not next to Britonisea’s act as the winner of Britonisea (all Britonish) and Antahbrantahstan’s act are from the same country. The Sarian has been put away from Normandy & Picardy, the two previous winners and the two returners, Gim and Titaniumland have also been put far from each other (9th and 4th). BVC has put thought in to this running order, haven’t they?
Estogium released lovely artwork yesterday as they announced that Shyna Kumbes will perform “Rise” in the WorldVision Song Contest. The song is about rising from somewhere (mentally) that you think will keep you down. It’s about overcoming your fears to be on top of the world. Shyna will be performing in Junterapten later on in the month.
Okay, Estogium, Ethane and Normandy & Picardy have just announced their intent on coming over to Britonisea to take part in the Pre-Party!
- Normandy and Picardy is the 11th confirmed nation.
- Ethane is the 12th confirmed nation.
- Estogium is the 13th nation who confirmed participation!
Which means there is only ONE SPACE left. Which nation will that be? Comment below for your opinion.
