If winning and hosting the World But Festival wasn’t enough, the public of this successful nation must be quite pleased with the result that they’ve gotten today. Normandy and Picardy won the contest with 118 points – much higher than previous winners in the past few WorldVision editions.
With the last voter, Ethane, about to release their votes, Talvezout (116) was one point Normandy and Picardy (117). Ethane decided to give one point to Normandy and Picardy bringing them up to 118, but there was no signs of the first seven points being Talvezout. All Talvezout needed was 3 points for victory, easily achievable with the top 3 points. As Ethane announced their top three points, People from Normandy and Picardy and Talvezout’s hearts must have stopped. The 12 points was announced…
It wasn’t Talvezout.
Congratulations to Normandy and Picardy and we wish you well in the future. Commiseration to everyone else – especially Talvezout.
The 5th nation to vote at the WorldVision Song contest, The Sword Bloke, had a quite explosive few minutes as they announced their points from a very small jury. During the live show, they expressed the reason why they’d have a jury as opposed to a televote.
Then he brings a special guest onstage.
“Did you know I’m friends with NBA Star Ron Artest? In fact, Ron and I are such big bros that Ron will now read out the first 3 votes from the Swordean voting jury, because why should we let the good people of our nation vote? They probably want Britonisea to win, and nobody wants Britonisea to win!”
This has started to have a negative impact on those on social media sites including the number one Britonish site, Britwit where people have turned against the nation. However, some may argue that whoever this man is said “Probably” which means that Britonisea may not have been robbed nor does it mean that Britonisea is hated in the country. However, this anti-Britonish propaganda has definitely put a U-Turn on the values of the contest.
