After an hour and a half for each bidding city, here are how the voters voted.
200 votes were available
Surprisingly, Kyvivre – the expected winners of the race – has crashed out of the contest to bid to host the contest, as Quickenden sneaks past Kyvivre in the race to bid to host the great semi-centennial edition of the WorldVision Song Contest. The process of Junterapten and Fredegate being at the top of the board has been a long and drawn out one. In the first round, Junterapten and Fredegate were at the top of the league, with a convincing lead (19 votes lead). However, as the second round came, Junterapten were in trouble as Kyvivre managed to gain more supporters – leaving them 3 votes from the top and only 6 votes behind Quickenden – who grew by 31 votes. Knowing that Quickenden can come out of nowhere, Junterapten and Fredegate had to put a very strong bid in Round 3. Quickenden, who hosted in WorldVision 41 also decided to put a strong bid forward which saw them surpass Kyvivre.
The finals are voted on, The Arena conditions and stage proposals, experience and overall cost. Knowing this, the arena would probably go in favour for Junterapten and Fredegate as The First Direct Arena is a very modern arena, and the Meggatude Indoor Arena is in need for an update, after what the WV41 contest left it in. Stage proposals could go anyway, there are some very artistic people in Junterapten, Fredegate and Quickenden. The experience could go in favour for Quickenden, however, Junterapten has put in to host the NS Archery Open and has raised intention to host if the nation wins the World Hit Festial 26. Quickenden has not only hosted a contest before, but has hosted multiple Mehlodhifehstivalen Finals. The overall cost could go to either, but Quickenden did waste a lot of time and money on postcards in WorldVision 41 – and so, that would be taken in to consideration.
