Whatever it says up there. ^. We don’t really have a reaction…
“Ask me no questions, and I won’t tell lies.” I call touche! Talvezout’s ever changing artists have come to an end as Grezzja has been announced the nation’s representative in WorldVision 47! Grezzja went on to say;
But seriously, the performance is going to be a more stripped down thing; compared to how the previous Talvezian entries have been more, um, gimmicky I guess? We’re going for a simple but effective performance.
Do you think she can win this edition? Take a look at that link!
OMG OML! Shyna Kumbes has not only told us something about her staging but she has told us that only men will join her on stage! But what for? I hope it isn’t anything inappropriate. Not Rick Legg inappropriate anyway!
Shyna Kumbes has been quite quiet which makes us wonder how well Estogium will do this edition!
Okay, so whether this is WorldVision news or not, it’s worth commenting on. The WorldVision 47 rep. for Normandy and Picardy will be hosting the 24th World Hit Festival in Caen later this month! She said this during the Pre-Party in Junterapten.
WorldVision and WHF aren’t conflicting this year, so it means I can host the show. I’ll also be the interval act, singing “Bigu”, and will be involved in the Opening Act. I told you I had a busy schedule! I have to go and film the opening sequence for WHF in a few days, and then its rehearsals for both WHF and WorldVision. If I’m still alive by the end of all this I’ll be lucky. And I don’t want to give too much away, but I may or may not be involved in WorldVision next year as well…
Well, we will be keeping up her progress in both the World Hit and WorldVision
NTR has confirmed their entry for WorldVision Song Contest 47.Following the Sunday 9pm broadcast on NTR2’s digital service and NTR Radio 1, the Nekonian entrant was revealed to be the upcoming dance artist Alessandro Florién with a song entitled Broken Heart.
The presenter of the reveal, previous entrant Sándor Riccia, spoke of the entry, “We did fantastically last contest, and with Alessandro on the stage, we can win it! We found our stride with this kind of music, and the song’s different enough to really stand out, especially with a good performance. Everyone at NTR and everyone in Nekoni wishes him the very best of luck!”
A source close to NTR has confirmed that PRO1, the Proluvian broadcaster that shows the contest have displayed their interests in entering, suggesting that “a friendly gentlemen’s bet is on the table between us, and it’s up to PRO1 to take up the offer.”
Proluvia have once attempted to enter the contest before in WVSC46, however the bid was later withdrawn citing both funding issues and a lukewarm response to their song.
Nekoni will perform 6th in the WorldVision Pre Party in Junteräpten.
Polkopia has been the last and
50th 49th nation to confirm for WorldVision 47 in either Ekoz or Nekoni.
Here is the statement;
Originally, the Polkopian National Broadcaster had intended to participate in the 46th edition of the Worldvision Song Contest, but unfortunately, Polkopia withdrew, citing political reasons as the cause. Polkopia has returned for the 47th edition, and the PNB had planned on using Branka Larisa’s song, “Shut Up” as their entry, as she had won the Best Of edition of the Landa vy Polkopiya, thus winning the spot to Worldvision. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, and due to Polkopia’s withdrawl, Branka was unable to perform her song.
For Polkopia’s return, the PNB had called for Branka Larisa to resubmit her song, which she had done. After a lyrical change, it has been decided that Branka would use the same tune, but the lyrics would be completely changed. Branka Larisa will enter the 47th Worldvision Song Contest with her song, Not Me…
Because of the currently ongoing financial difficulty of Radiance, The Jury-Poll-Televote cannot be realized, and also, the contest instead will be broadcast on Horizon, a joint venture between Anturian Television System (58%) and KordiaMentha (42%), “It’s saddening”, says Anturian HoD Pieter Kim, “Because of the broadcaster’s(Radiance-red) financial difficulty, the contest will be broadcast on Horizon, and also we’ll stick to the 100% jury system for now, sorry about that”. However, to compensate it, Horizon has announced that they are adding two juries from the non-music professionals and replaced H.B Ambarwati (she is very busy dubbing shows) with another professional, and now, the jury panel consists of:
-Christine Mapinduzi: Folk musician, novelist.
-Karolina Rabbani: Singer, Songwriter, Former WorldVision Participant.
-Ibrahim Leong: Director of SaLiNas-Sony Music, former opera singer (baritone).
-Pia Nurul Kholidah: Housewife, online seller.
-Kim Hwang-jun: Architect.
Wow. This edition is turning out to be one of many colours.
